Beyonce Visits "The Sphinx" in Egypt

I thought this was pretty interesting because I'm taking an Art History course this semester, and I know what "The Great Sphinx" actually is. It's a gigantic pyramid (human/animal characteristics) used as a tomb and made completely from sandstone. This pyramid along with two others are of a family lineage (Pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, & Menakure). This sphinx that Beyonce is pictured with is Khafre's, and is smaller than that of his father Khufu (The Great Pyramid). It's also located in Giza, Egypt.

It baffles me how Beyonce can just fly over to Africa 2 look at the pyramids when she chooses, even if she's on tour overseas. Shoot, I wish!
