Everyone calls it "Throwback Thursday" but, I'm calling it Nostalgic Saturday. After all no one really thinks of Thursday when they think of throwbacks [At least I don't]. I think of waking up on Saturday mornings to watch cartoons or to go skating with friends. So, I'm scrapping the term "Throwback Thursdays".
Let's reminisce:
If you were a big Nickelodeon fan like I was, then you know about 'My Brother and Me'. Most importantly, you know about Goo punch and the infamous 'Hit me!' phrase. Well here's that episode [part 2] when Dee-Dee got bullied. What shocked everyone was that the bully that hit 'em was a girl! *Check Amanda Diva around the 5 minute mark. I didn't realize that was her until now. [Her character talked waaaay 2 much!]
"Tuff guys don't care about grammer, okay!" - Alfie
"Hit me! You suppose to be so bad!" - Dee Dee
[Too bad, I can't find the part where Alfie gets beat up too!]
Lol. I'm sad to say I didn't have the pleasure of watching this show when I was younger because we didn't have cable, but it definitely look like something I would like. lol
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's just me, but that fat dark skinned boy kinda looked like Lance Gross (the dude from House of Payne), I guess it was something about his face when he laughed. lol
But I love Amanda Diva, I don't know why. It's just something about her vibe. I don't even really know what she does besides being a radio personality. All I know is that she replaced Natalie in Floetry for a while. ...
Omg, u didn't see it? Gurl, it was everybody's [ok, not everybody] fav. show on Nick! And he does not look like Lance Gross, at all. Lance is fine gurl! And I don't kno Amanda Diva like that either but, i recognized her when i saw this clip. I didn't kno it was her back then of course. But yes, u would've def liked this show! :)
